I absolutely love going to the movies. Chick flicks, dramas, adventures, thrillers, 3-Ds and children's movies, I like it all! If I had my way (and the extra funds), I would see a new movie every week but as it is I try to make it to the cinema a few times a month and enjoy movies from the comfort of my couch for the remainder. There's just something about the cinematic experience- the buttered popcorn, the refreshing drink, the comfy chairs and the group atmosphere- that I find so relaxing. One of my favourite outings was attending the International Women's Film Festival in
St. John's, Newfoundland, it opened my eyes to the art of film making.

ReplyDeleteI like going to the movies, but I'm totally a bring your own snacks kinda girl. I also am a huge fan of matinees, especially if it isn't opening night of the biggest movie playing - because my theater has two big screens and 10 tiny screens. If it isn't opening weekend, you are stuck with a tiny screen, and I can not stand the idea of paying $15 to see a movie in the damn tiny theater!

Such adorable outfits, indeed! I love matinees. I usually want a bottle of water if anything at the theater. The snacks are just horrible there. I know of one fancy theater that has healthy things..but you gotta pay big time.

ReplyDeletemovies are fun. i really enjoy going to the theater too but it's such a rare occasion for my hubby and i to go since we have kids. most of the time we watch our netflix in bed and i usually fall asleep in the middle. it's not the same as the theater!

hello hotness in the jean cutoff outfit! hello glamour in 2nd outfit. :) i'd rather go to see a live band than go to the movies. i like watching movies at home. i can talk as much as i want. i can ask questions, so my guy can explain parts i don't understand. i can rewind, pause, stop, & try to study the songs at the end credits. i know totally boring, right?
