from filing to fortune tellers

I love transforming looks from career to cocktails by changing accessories, hairstyle and shoes and creating a whole new ensemble.  Last week I wore my thrifted black and white patterned blouse two different ways, the first time as a daytime look for work and the second as an evening outfit for a five course Witches & Fortune Tellers themed vegan dinner at Cafe My House.

Filing:
Blouse, Vest, Pants, Scarf & Ring- Thrifted; Shoes- Vintage; Beret- Zellers;  Bracelets- Aldo; Nail Polish- Blackmail by Wet and Wild & Today Was a Fairytale by Deborah Lippman

Fortune Tellers:
Blouse & Ring- Thrifted; Skirt- Spoof; Scarf (worn as belt), Headband & Clutch- Gifted;  Necklace- Sears; Shoes- Max's Shoe Repair; Nail Polish- Blackmail by Wet & Wild

{Surprise shot that my man took while I was looking at myself in the mirror across the room.  This is my mirror face.}

How do you take a look from sunrise to sunset?

  6. Girlfriend, you look awesome as always! You transitioned the looks very well! I absolutely love the skirt and necklace in the second picture!!

    I usually do something fairly subtle to go from day to night - maybe change from dress slacks into dark skinny jeans, change my shoes, or go from a necklace to a scarf. A little bit can go a long way!

One of my daily joys is reading the lovely comments you leave. It may take a day or two (or three, depending on how hectic life gets!) but I will stop by your slice of the blogosphere soon! xo Emily
