by golly it's green!

Blouse, Blazer & Pants- Thrifted; Necklace & Bracelet- Macy's; Shoes- Suzy Shier; Nail Polish- Sew Psyched by Essie
I'm excited that today is green day over at Everybody, Everywear because it's one of my favourite colours.  Whether it's a cape, scarf, miniskirt, or dress, the colour is fun, vibrant, energetic and symbolic of re-growth which is perfect for springtime.  My man took these photos at 8:30 a.m. this morning, before I had a chance to apply my war paint (which is how my Mum refers to makeup) and to be honest I'm half-asleep in these photos so please excuse the sleepy faces- I think I'm still dreaming of house-hunting (you know you're an adult when your slumbers are no longer filled with images of Barbies & candy-shops but instead interior decorating, kitchen remodelling and planning your menu for the week!)

Now it's your turn to get green with envy!

  2. You look nice in green! Well, actually, I think everyone looks nice in green, which is why it's my favorite color. It can do no wrong.

And you look nice without make-up, too. Lucky!

  10. I dream of remodeling AND candy. I love the green blazer, but that last photo is much more 'bedroom eyes' than it is 'sleepy face'.

  11. I'm not able to wear most colors of green, but I do love adding green accents to outfits. Your shoes would be the perfect addition to my closet. I bet you're able to wear them with a lot of different things. - Katy

  25. I see you showing off your Zumba butt! :) Seriously, you're looking great.

I love green--it's my favorite color. I like how it brings out the yellow in my skin. Is that weird? For some reason green makes me look healthier and well-rested. I'm not Irish, but I'll be wearing green on Saturday.
