few words

Romper (worn as shorts)- Thrifted (remixed like this); Tee- GAP (remixed like this and this); Heels- Fergalicious by Fergie; Necklace- DIY
In my last post I talked about what a chatterbox I am, but today (in true Emily contradictory fashion) I am a woman of few words.  Having worked a 2-in-1 yesterday (that's my clever phrase for extreme overtime), I am beyond drained.  It's not so much the 16 hour shift that will kill you, it's the day afterwards.  Waking up today was worse than pulling teeth and I am pretty sure I just glared at my poor man as a morning greeting (eyeshades still on my head and earplugs still firmly rooted in my ears!)

I think the Red Bull is starting to kick in...

When you're exhausted are you grumpy and silent (like me) or can you still muster up energy?

  3. When I'm exhausted, I'm grumpy. Very grumpy. And I am NOT a morning person. My family is learning not to speak to me in the mornings. It's just not worth it.

However...when my daughter wakes up, she changes my whole mood and I'm happy. :)

  12. I'm still in love with your spray tan. Ew, creepy, huh? Heheehehe. But, you know. I love you either way. But the tan is a nice change!

Sorry to hear about your long work day. I hear ya. I've been working long shifts recently too...and CRAP. I slept like such a baby last night. Could barely wake up in the morning. Didn't WANT to wake up in the morning (not like I wanted to die or anything. I'd be fine with the afternoon). Bah. Let's hope we both get some nice rest and relaxation soon.

  19. Love this outfit! I think it is my favorite of your 30 for 30 remix :) The necklace is the perfect summer accessory, and the romper as shorts is a great idea :D Great job! You're almost done!

  20. I share your dislike of mornings. When about 3, you were colouring a picture of a tyrannasaurus rex about to rip off another dino's head and explained that "this is Mum". That about sums it up. Forgive the spelling of the big dino's name, I type this in the morning time.

One of my daily joys is reading the lovely comments you leave. It may take a day or two (or three, depending on how hectic life gets!) but I will stop by your slice of the blogosphere soon! xo Emily
