pussy bow

Blouse (worn like this)- Consigned; Skirt, Ring & Purse- Thrifted; Boots- Gifted; Belt- Spoof (Boutique in Toronto); Nail Polish- Deliciously Dark by Rimmel
Heather & Kayla recently styled a necktie blouse for their popular mother & daughter remix and their post inspired me to bust out my consigned leopard print pussy bow blouse.  I'm a sucker for blouses so add a feminine bow and I'm hooked!

The colour of this pleated skirt is actually a bright fuchsia (not fire engine red as it appears in the photos), I can't wait to wear it with bare legs and strappy heels in the spring!

Pussybow Blouse- Consigned; Top, Pants, Black Ring & Earrings- Thrifted; Gold Heart Ring- H&M; Shoes- Dress for Success Ottawa Sale; Nail Polish- Deliciously Dark by Rimmel

I pulled up the pant legs so that you could see the shoes, don't worry these pants are not the most awkward length in the world (in  fact they are very wide legged and high waisted, a perfect combo for short gams like mine!)

Are you a (pussy bow) blouse babe?

  3. Eek! I love this blouse! It's gorgeous; leopard print, feminine, and has a bow! Until you told us that you called these types of tops pussy bow blouses, we had never heard the term. I really like both of your looks. Leopard with a pop of color is always a winner and of course leopard and stripes is a favorite of mine. Thanks for the shout out too! Heather

  4. See, everyone is wearing pussy bow blouses (I so hate that term) this week, and it's not quite warm enough to wear mine, as it has ruffly cap sleeves and doesn't layer well. That's it, I'm moving Canada to a warmer climate!

  5. Is that what they're really called? I had never heard that term--pussy bow blouses. I don't own any but you and Heather and Kayla are making me consider trying them.

  9. What a great blouse! I love the very different looks you have going with it too - it's lovely with the red skirt and belt, but it adds something so fun to your striped sweater too! I have one bow blouse that is more springy, but I do really like it!

  13. I'm absolutely adoring your first outfit Em! Fuchsia and animal print is daring but you pull it off so well (of course you do!). Aren't the colour-distorting effect of indoor shots annoying?? Anyways, the boots are stunning too; very Russian-princessy.
