colour blocking chick

Shorts- H&M (Consigned); Top, Belt & Purse- Thrifted; Shoes- Aldo (Gifted from Best Friend); Ring- Vintage (Inherited from Grandmother); Bracelet- Dragonmoon (Boutique in Perth, ON); Necklace- E-Bay; Nail Polish- Fuchsia Fever by Revlon & Coral Pink by Sally Hansen
Colour, colour colour (no it's not a typo, I just like to spell things the Canadian way eh!) This is what runs through my mind when I pick out my outfits the night or week before (which I highly recommend, makes getting dressed in the morning so much easier!) I'm attracted to brights, neons and anything that makes a statement.  Now that colour blocking is trending, I am finding more excuses to put colours together that I might not have otherwise (like green, pink & yellow).  Add sky high heels & blinged out accessories and this was my favourite outfit I wore all weekend (although walking was a bit of a challenge!)

  2. Yes, I always spell it with a "u" too :) Gotta represent Canada! :P
I HAVE to pick my clothing out before I go to bed the night before, otherwise I'll wake up and it'll be a disaster. Seriously, my brain does not turn on in the morning...
I've been turning to colour a lot too these days. I've never been one to stick to neutrals and blacks. I gotta have some brights!

One of my daily joys is reading the lovely comments you leave. It may take a day or two (or three, depending on how hectic life gets!) but I will stop by your slice of the blogosphere soon! xo Emily
