I'm excited to link up to Inspiration Monday today as it's been a while since I've participated. I may not be as curvy as sexy Modern Family (love that show!) actress Sofia Vergara but I sure love coral as much as she does (doesn't look like it in the pictures but my blouse is a pinky coral).
As promised, after a very busy Saturday, I spent Sunday relaxing. I stayed in my pjs until dinner-time (I don't think I've done that since High School!) and only got dressed because we were going out for my man's b-day supper with friends. I slept-in until almost noon, watched 6 episodes of Real Housewives of Orange County (my guilty pleasure), painted my nails and had a leisurely bubble bath. It was heavenly!
Last time I wore these thrifted Chinese Laundry snakeskin sandals they gave my feet awful blisters and today the sole started to fall apart so I think it's time to say goodbye to these beauties!
I was having a bad hair day so piled a couple of Fräulein- esque braids on top of my head. I like how simple the hair style is and you will definitely be seeing variations of this in future blog posts!
You look lovely. I will have a drink of wine for your shoes! No matter what they have to feel good and I've had my share of pinchers! Have a good week!
ReplyDeleteI love your take on the inspiration photo, still bright but very chic with the scarf. And the braids totally rock.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your sweet comment and for following! Love your interpretation of the look. That scarf is gorgeous! ;) I am loving the braids these days - so easy and cute for hot summer days!

ReplyDeleteYour Sunday sounds like a dream! I would love to have a day like that!
Bummer about the shoes!
Thank you so much for visiting my blog and for commenting. I love the color of your top! Your nail polish matches so well. Too bad about your shoes falling apart. I had that happen the other day. Luckily they totally fell apart just as I arrived home from an outing! Maybe we can follow each other?
