primary colours

Skirt-Swapped from Emma; Blouse & Belt-Thrifted; Boots- Spring; Ring-H&M; Nail Polish-Vintage by Revlon

After visiting four art galleries last night I was feeling inspired and decided to emulate a painter's primary colours in my outfit.  My man decided that this what Wonder Woman would wear to the office and suggested I go grab my lasso of truth and projectile (tinfoil) tiara! Well I do possess a natural rapport with animals and am working on the concept of superhuman strength so you never know...

{Shoulder pads- you either love 'em or you hate 'em and I think you can tell which side of the fence I sit on! I'm linking up to Thursdays are for Thrifters even though (once again) I'm posting on a Friday!}

This lovely red skirt was mailed to me by Emma for a clothing swap by post and I just love the bright colour and textured front.  Great minds think alike-I also mailed Kelly one of my red skirts for her to style {check out her look here}.

{It's currently 6:30 a.m. as I type this and I've already been awake for 2 hours. I'm en route to Toronto for Zumba Instructor Training-wish me luck and have a great weekend!}

  14. I love what men say about outfits. Never does a day go by when my husband calls me some ridiculous amalgamation of cartoon characters based on my clothes. That said, I love this WONDER WOMAN outfit :) especially that skirt. The details are marvelous!

    You look cute, but I think you look cute whatever you wear....Since I have the shoulders of a Chicago Bear line backer I hate!!!!!! shoulder pads......not saying I don't have a jacket or two with them....
    Hope your unplugged weekend goes well. I guess I have to start the dreaded Christmas shopping!

  26. You rock those shoulder pads! I like shoulder pads, in theory, for example when I see them on you and you look amazing - but on me, it's a disaster. I am so broad as it is that I end up looking like a linebacker. How my mother survived the 80's I will never know...

  27. Ah!! Good luck that's so exciting! I wish I were in Canada to take your Zumba class :)
    Anyway, love these primary colors - especially that cool belt and great textured skirt! I'm in between fences in regards to shoulder-pads but I'm always up for a challenge ;)
    PS - Let me know when you receive your elegantee - I wore mine yesterday (didn't get a pic, of course) and looooved it - the detailing is just great for such an affordable price!
