sunny days ahead

Hey everyone! C'est moi, and I promise no more whinging (for a little while at least!) Since the disastrous events of Tuesday, things have started looking up and I even treated myself to a carwash today (since I can't buy clothes for 30 days it's the next best thing!) The boy My lovebird and official photographer (that is for you Ashley!) is in California for work this week so my outfit posts are not as up to date as I'd like.  I tried taking my own OOTD pics last night on my balcony but sans a tripod and after precariously balancing my rinky dink digital camera on a box, a strainer and a plant pot, I realized I could wait a day or two.

One of my good friends took this photo tonight while we were downtown in Ottawa's Art Court, promoting The Walk, a moving play about sex trafficking, an issue we are both passionate about finding a solution for.  The sun was shining, my legs were feeling the burn from today's Body Step class and I was in good company, can't ask for much more (except maybe a nice cold glass of sangria!)

Skirt- Thrifted; Shirt- Liz Claiborne; Wedges- Steve Madden; Ring- Zellers; Necklace- Vintage; Purse & Sunglasses- Aldo; Nail Polish- Ocean Love Potion by Sephora for OPI

I hope that's a shadow under my armpit...

The weekend is nigh- hang in there!

  4. Hey buddy. Just saw your question on Tracy's blog and thought I'd answer it.

Tracy lives in Oakland, which is 10 minutes from San Francisco. San Diego, where you're going, is 500 miles south of her, about an 8-hour car-ride. I've been to both places and they are fun, but they are not close.

One of my daily joys is reading the lovely comments you leave. It may take a day or two (or three, depending on how hectic life gets!) but I will stop by your slice of the blogosphere soon! xo Emily
