{30x30 pt19&20} Hair Disaster

You know the saying "if it ain't broke don't fix it"? Well, this is one quote I should adhere to.  My hair had faded a lot since I dyed it so I decided to add some more red dye.  And since I am low on funds, I bought a L'Oreal box and had my sister colour my hair.  Let's just say the red turned to purple and she missed patches of my hair.  I tried calling the L'Oreal help line but they are incoveniently closed over the weekends! I called the hair salon but they told me hair correction is expensive and can take a while.  So I'm now considering keeping this colour but just fixing the patches.  *Sigh*

  3. Great outfits. You always look smashing.

Sorry 'bout the hair. It doesn't look bad to me, but I have very little understanding about hair. Good luck with whatever you decide to do about it.

  5. I like the color on you, and I would just fix the patches. I am a natural redheaded but my friend who is a stylist says if you want your red dye to stay more vibrant next time use shampoo for dyed red hair. Pantene has a line for it, and John Frieda. If you don't want to keep the color still fix the patches, and then use a stripping shampoo like Prell. Or you can try L'Oreal's Color Zap to strip out the color. I hope this helped if you have any questions twitter me.

  14. I don't see anything at all wrong with your hair! If it's messed up, it's very, very subtle.

I love both of these outfits, so much! The ruffled skirt in the first and those boots in the second. You look lovely!

  15. Awe babe, that sucks but I can't see anything wrong with your hair. The patches must be subtle. You should still call the help line to see if they will fund the "fixing". I do like the colour though. It's nice!

I had a few bad hair experiences most recently was a box dye to make my hair blond. My girlfriends did it but I was running late for a date with Chris somI washed it out with 5 minutes left. With wet hair I went to the movies. But the time the movie was over, My hair was orange!

  16. I think you hair looks great. I cant see any patches or purple color. But I say just buy another box.

    Write it in Lipstick

  17. I rely on the box...and it works now. I do remember a disaster when I was 17 and as a dark brunette wanted some lighter highlights. Did it myself...orange stripes were the result. People used to growl when they saw tiger girl arriving....sigh.
