BOO!

Skirt & Shoes- Target; Belt, Clutch & Tank- Thrifted; Bracelet- Borrowed; Polka Dotted Hosiery & Trouser Socks- Zellers
In celebration of the haunting holiday, I spent today clad in black and orange.  I was excited to debut both my sequined tank that I thrifted ages ago & these fabulous orange cut-out wedges bought for under $5 on my recent Target trip in New Jersey.

And now for some Halloween costumes...

We dressed up as Slash & Axl Rose (sexy version) for a night of drinking & dancing at a charity ball last Saturday night- rock on!

Tonight my costume was a bit more demure to hand out candy to the kids. I was a bumblebee and my man was a masked fish-head? This was our first year in a house so I was prepared for masses of costumed children but we only got 34 trick or treaters by the end of the night.  Ah well, more candy for me!

How did you celebrate Halloween?

  7. I loved both of your costumes, especially the Axel version, very clever. I was a bit tired this Halloween and just watched films and had a nice dinner, since I had to wake up so early. But, I did see so many cute costumes earlier. :)

  19. Shoes for under $5? Forget waiting for Target to come to Ottawa (when they will probably find a way to overcharge here anyways), I'm going to hunt one down in Florida later this month! You guys look terrific in your rocker costumes. I hope there was an opportunity for karaoke that nightl!

One of my daily joys is reading the lovely comments you leave. It may take a day or two (or three, depending on how hectic life gets!) but I will stop by your slice of the blogosphere soon! xo Emily
