Capris, Vest, Tank & Shoes- Thrifted; Sunglasses & Flag Headband- Dollar Store To help celebrate Canada's 145th Birthday, I spent the holiday wearing red and white, the colours of our flag. Highlights of the weekend included braving the downtown crowds (I live in the country's capital city so masses of residents & tourists take over the streets) with good friends from University; girl's night at Magic Mike (Channing Tatum, need I say more?); biking along the Ottawa river; great conversations at my best friend's festive house party and watching the extravagant fireworks with loved ones. |
Skirt- Spoof (Boutique in Toronto); Top- United Colours of Benetton; Sandals- Old Navy; Bracelet & Clutch- Thrifted; Whale Pin & Bird Hairbow- Shop of Worldly Delights |
I spent my day off today sleeping in, cooking vegan treats, cleaning, leisurely reading, catching up on RHOC and cudding with my kitties. I am always so much more relaxed after long weekends and am now prepared to tackle the busy work week ahead!
I feel like a Bunhead in this outfit (is anyone else watching that show? I'm pretty sure the fact that all my other shows have ended for the season, has something to do with why I'm enjoying it, that or I don't have high standards for entertainment...probably the latter!)

What a patriotic little goof with the flags in your hair! You are just adorable and I love that white skirt. I have been a fan of that type of overlay since I saw it in Savanna last year. I think I'm a little past it but love it anyway!
ReplyDeleteOur celebration begins tomorrow evening and goes through Wednesday. I have it when the 4th falls during the week! Oh well, gotta run and look for my flags!

Both are lovely outfits, but I have to say that those adorable little flags really complete the ensembles. But really, really love both outfits. That skirt in the second one is stunning. You are adorable, Emily!
