sister style

After days of talking about it, my sister Stephanie and I finally mustered up enough energy (watching Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, eating Swedish Berries and doing face masks can be exhausting!) to create a sister remix (inspired by Heather & Kayla!)

We chose this beautiful blue and white bamboo patterned cardigan that I found at my favourite thrift store for only $4.99 with the tags still on! Steph's looks are perfect for the colder months while I was remixing with visions of sandy beaches dancing in my head!

Pants & Belt- Thrifted; Top- Swapped; Shoes- Payless

{I know I was harping on about white pants, that is until I thrifted this pair of white flared pants that fit like a dream! Now I'm on the white pant bandwagon, just not sold on white jeans...yet}

Jeans-Stitches; Top-Jacob; Shoes- Swapped; Belt-Costa Blanca; Necklace & Watch-Thrifted

{Isn't Steph so pretty? She's almost 4 years younger than me but many people think she's my older sister or that we're twins.  She has an adorable smile with a cheerful personality to match!}
Skirt & Belt- Thrifted; Top-Swapped; Shoes- Payless

Top & Dress (worn as skirt) Smart Set; Boots- Spring

  11. Aww. It's times like these when I wish I had a sister. So cute! All of these looks are great, but I especially love yours with the yellow skirt. Adorbs.

    Swedish berries? What exactly are these? Lingonberries, perhaps? OMG, swedish pancakes. March 2011. Twenty pounds gained. Okay, I'm off on a tangent that no one but myself can follow, so I'm going to go now...

  21. I now know what that favourite thrift store is! I went in there on Wednesday, there was a lot of good stuff! Didn't pick anything up, but if I was in the mood to shop being so close to that store could definitely be dangerous. I love how you were able to create such different looks with the cardigan.

  24. AWESOME!!! I LOVE that you did a sister-sister remix! The Mother-Daughter remixes are one of my favorite things on H&K's blog - this is just so great! Makes me want to do one with my sis which, by the way, is also 4 years younger than me but lots of people think she's older too!
    Favs are your first with the teal top and white pants - so chic! Also love Steph's last, layered dress look!
    Hope you get to do lots more of these! So fun :)
