inspiration monday- old favourite

My Outfit: Skirt- Spoof (Boutique in Toronto); Blouse- Smart Set; Purse & Belt- Thrifted; Necklace- Gifted; Flip Flops- Gisele Bundchen & My Man's Outfit: Jeans- Buffalo; T-shirt- Parasuco; Watch- Swiss Army; Shoes- Spring

After a very enjoyable mini-vacation in Toronto (post to come), I am back in full force and today I am taking part in two birds' Inspiration Monday challenge as well as Megan Mae & Keely's Remix Week Challenge.  I am channelling Kiera Knightley's street chic style and my man even joined in wearing his weekend uniform of jeans and tee.  The remix challenge was to remix an old favourite and although it's not necessarily a favourite, my white button up is old and it's a wardrobe staple.  I rarely wear white blouses because they remind me of my days in the restaurant industry, but paired with a flowy skirt and bohemian accessories, it felt fresh and fun.

I love this ballerina inspired skirt that I picked up for $7.99 (brand-new!) at a boutique this weekend in Toronto.  I liked it so much that I bought the same style in cream (to debut at a later date!)

Hmmm I haven't quite perfected the knotted shirt yet...

  17. You look so pretty! I love it that you got your man to pose with you. I know a white button up shirt is supposed to be a staple, but I don't have one. I can't seem to find one that's not completely see-through. I like your yellow belt too.
