Dress- GAP; Shoes- Priceless UK; Blazer- Anne Klein (Thrifted); Purse- Aldo; Belt- Thrifted
I volunteer as a Boutique Manager with Dress for Success Ottawa which I absolutely love and last night I was invited to a gala to raise money for the organization. It was such a nice event with a plethora of beautifully dressed women (and men!) and since the focus was on footwear I broke out my funkiest shoes- a pair of Pour la Victoire that I splurged on in Santa Monica.
Dress- GAP; Shoes- Pour la Victoire; Jewellery- Swarvoski (Gifted from the boy); Clutch-Thrifted with Vintage Brooch
Did you notice I'm wearing the dress backwards with the blazer to make it work appropriate?

such a terrific job, beautiful outfit too :)
ReplyDeleteYou are so cool. I feel cool just knowing you!
ReplyDeleteyou look so professional and cute in the first pictures, and then the shoes make it so sassy in the last pictures :) I love it! also, I LOVE that you said "like nobody's business"! that's probably like one of my top ten most overused saying ever, I am like a Teddy Ruxpin, you pull the string sticking out of my back and I will say like one of maybe a dozen sayings, also on the list is...
ReplyDelete"hungry enough to eat the asshole out of a skunk" (thanks dad!)
"are you picking up what I'm putting down?"
"as all get out"
and then quite a few Tim and Eric quotes.
That's awesome you volunteer, and it's even more awesome that so many community members want to help out! you don't see that often enough!
Love the blazer in the first combo. I've been wanting a white blazer for a while but I can't find one that's stain resistant. haha Is that possible?!?
ReplyDeleteI love your booties! Congrats on that purchase. It's awesome.
Great post, I like the day to night looks. Those booties are amazing, I would have splurged on them too.

I love these outfits! The piping on the blazer looks really sharp and those open-toed boots are so rocker-chic. I was just trying to remember the name of Dress for Success in conversation the other day! Is there an equivalent store for menswear? Brad has some stuff to donate.
ReplyDeleteI love these professional outfits. You look great, and your job sounds AMAZING. I'm totally jealous.

ReplyDeleteyou had asked if i volunteered with dress for sucess. technically no. I volunter at a place that does many things for their clients, my main volunteer role is working in the thrift store which helps support about 5 other endevors. sometimes we partner with dress for success so people can shop the thrift store.
