caped

Do you ever just grab random pieces from your closet and run out the door? Well that's what I did yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised by the end result.  Except the one time I wear my rain boots, it doesn't rain.  Ah well, c'est la vie! I wanted to get another wear out of this green thrifted cape (worn here I like it better as a redhead) before the weather starts to heat up. I bought these checkered shorts a few years ago when I was smaller so there was a lot of effort into zipping these bad boys up (you know those times you have to lie on the bed and suck everything in, yeah that's what I had to do).


Marilyn Monroe watch- Gifted; Nail polish- Today was a Fairytale by Deborah Lippmann


Rain boots- Walmart

Cape- Thrifted; Shorts- Le Chateau; Tights- Smart Set; Necklace- The Bay

    What a cool color on your cape! I have shorts that kinda look like yours--I never thought to wear it with tights (which is something I've always wanted to try.) Thanks for showing me the way...

    I love the color of your cape. The shorts look really cool with it too. I would say sorry it didn't rain when you wore your rain boots, but that sounds like a good thing lol!

    I'm in love with those shorts! Boots too. What a very cool poncho. Its gotten so warm here, as of late..I miss it being a little cold.

    I wish wish wish you had not thrifted that cape and could tell me where to buy one! I have never seen them come in that color. As a redhead myself it would look awesome on me too! ;)
