{30x30 pt 28&29} its just a jump to the left and then a step to the right

You know when you watch a movie for the first time and wonder how you've gone your whole life without seeing it? That was the case for Monday night's movie night in when the boy and I watched The Rocky Horror Picture Show.  I LOVED IT!!! I couldn't stop singing the tunes and the cabaret costumes were fabulous.  No need to make plans for next Saturday night- we'll be at the Mayfair Theatre dressed as Janet and Brad throwing toast at the screen and singing tunelessly at the top of our lungs! Oh I can't wait...now I've really exposed my dorky side to y'all!

  2. Rocky Horror Picture Show is one of the greatest movies of all time. I'm jealous you get to to the theatre and do the whole dress up/singing! Theres a book with all the protocal for it.
    Love the snake skin!

  3. "Damn it Janet, I love you"... dun dun dun
I LOVE Meatloaf in that movie, and Tim Curry! It's the bestest musical made. Anyone who doesn't like that movie, just plain sucks. I didn't realize it was playing at the Mayfair and that dressing up is optional. I think that it is something that I must go to.

  4. Love the last outfit, I haven't seen that movie but I saw it redone on glee... does that count?

So I just realized I'm not a follower, how rude is that. We been friends (blog friends) all this time and I just became a follower. Problem solved.

  5. It's such a good movie for you to see. I'm not surprised you liked it! My mom and dad used to go that theatre in Ottawa and do those things when they watched Rocky Horror, but that was back when it first came out.

  6. Don't dream it, be it...

I was a huge RHPS fan during the '70's. In addition to the fun music, the idea of a man wearing lingerie was transgressive at the time -- and seeing it gave me courage to be my deviant self. Glad you're finally enjoying it.

  7. Holy cow, I love this outfit. Love the color of the cardigan, the print of the top, the fit of the skirt, love the shoes (heh), love everything! You look gorgeous!

And, um...I've never seen it. I'm so pathetic, I know. ;)

  10. I've seen it, and I love it. I saw the play first, and then the movie. I had a lot of fun when I went. We got bags full of stuff to use during the play which made it even better.

One of my daily joys is reading the lovely comments you leave. It may take a day or two (or three, depending on how hectic life gets!) but I will stop by your slice of the blogosphere soon! xo Emily
